Precautions for measuring instrument maintenance:

    2Do not allow measuring instruments and other tools (such as files, hammers, etc.), knives mixed together to avoid damage. Measuring instruments should be kept strictly separate from abrasives.
    3The measuring instrument should be placed in a clean, dry, suitable temperature, no vibration, no corrosive gas. For example, the measuring instrument cannot be placed in a place with coolant and chips, which not only affects the accuracy of the measurement due to temperature changes, but also causes corrosion and blockage of the measuring instrument and affects the normal use; Do not put the measuring instrument on the machine tool at will, so as not to fall and break it due to vibration; Do not place the measuring instrument near the magnetic field, so as not to magnetize the measuring instrument, adsorb chips on the measuring surface, and increase the measurement error or wear the measuring surface.
    4Non-measurement maintenance personnel are strictly prohibited from disassembling, repairing or modifying measuring instruments by themselves. If any problem is found with the measuring instrument, it shall be sent to the relevant department for inspection and repair in time, and can only be used after it has been verified.

    5When measuring on the machine tool, the workpiece must be stopped and then measured, otherwise, the workpiece is measured during operation, not only will the measuring surface of the measuring instrument be worn prematurely and lose accuracy, but also damage the measuring instrument, and even cause personal accidents.

    6When measuring rough surfaces, precious and precise measuring instruments should not be used.
    7Measuring instruments are used to measure and can not be used as substitutes for other tools, such as markers, hammers, word-spinning tools and used to clean chips are not allowed.
    8Do not rub the measuring surface of the measuring instrument with your hand, because there is sweat on your hand, stolen goods, etc., which will pollute the measuring surface and produce rust.
    9Do not make steel marks, marks, etc., near the marking line or other relevant parts of the measuring instrument, so as not to make the measuring instrument deformed by the hammer impact, affecting its accuracy.
    10After using the measuring instrument, clean it in time. In addition to stainless steel or protective layer, the measuring surface should be coated with a layer of anti-rust oil, and then put into the box. Avoid keeping two measuring surfaces close together for a long time, which will also cause corrosion on the measuring surface.
